Wedding Ceremonies

Are you looking for an alternative to the traditional wedding ceremony?  Perhaps you want a ceremony that is spiritual but not religious, or one that combines rituals from two different faiths. Or maybe you’d like a secular/civil service, but one more elaborate than what is typically offered. Perhaps your own church won’t permit an outdoor ceremony, or a same-sex or interfaith union.

Kezia Bacon is a Certified Lifecycle Celebrant, a Registered Kripalu Yoga Teacher, a newspaper columnist, and an Assistant Editor at edible South Shore magazine. She resides in Marshfield, Massachusetts.

I want to help you create a wedding ceremony that is fulfilling and relevant to you, a ceremony that truly reflects who you are. As a Certified Lifecycle Celebrant, I work with you to create a ceremony that is meaningful, creative, and personalized. It’s all about what you want, what suits you, what represents your beliefs and values.

We work together to make it happen. I meet with you, find out about you and what you envision for your wedding, make suggestions, and together we create the perfect ceremony. Because the process is so personalized, no two celebrant ceremonies are the same. And there are no surprises -- you get to sign off on every single word.

One of the hallmarks of a celebrant wedding is the telling of the couple’s love story – how they met, fell in love, decided to get married. Wedding guests enjoy hearing this – it makes them feel closer to the couple. And it belongs in a wedding ceremony – after all, this is the story you will tell your friends and loved ones, the story that will be passed down through generations of your family.

My typical clients are couples who want more control over their wedding ceremonies and/or are looking for something “a little different.” I am also available for Vow Renewals, Baby Blessings, and Child Welcoming Ceremonies. Do you like the sound of the ceremonies I write, but already have chosen an officiant? I also offer Ceremony Writing Services.

Please take some time to explore my website, to learn more about me and what I offer. I am always available for questions or additional information.
